Me and the misses had a great conversation this morning.I was telling her how I found it funny that black fashion doesn’t get worn by black people anymore. If we are the trend sitters why isn’t this showing up in black business’ pockets. I find it puzzling that none of this money is coming back to our communities. Washington, D.C is a prime example of the buying power. Their black consumers, regardless of socioeconomic status still buy the brands like H.O.B.O, Shooters and All Dayz. There is incredible buying power when dealing with blacks. If there wasn’t, why do major corporations market most of there poison ( or merchandise) to our community. BET, being a white own company, will put black people in their commercials so you think “yea their giving back to the community.” I challange you all to come up with a way or an idea that you are not scared to put in motion of how you can turn a dollar back into your own communities. Trust me, keep sending all this money to the top 8% wealthy of america and see, do they even have your best interest at heart when they use their money to help presidents and other government officials run. Your vote does matter, but the fact still remains, you need a billion dollars to run a presdential campaign. To control the town you must control the economics. The only weapon agaist resistance is persistance. These views are my own and are in no way a reflection of the views and opinions of Asune.com or the staff.

Today, I will look at the layout of the news on the site. Giving it a more refined look. As far as my personal life is concerned, I had a lot of fun yesterday. I’m currently looking for a job. The employment process has really changed over the years. Almost everything is automated. Just go online and post your resume and you can be put you in a database of employers for potential jobs. It’s interesting how that nifty little personality assessment they give you asks the same question in 6 different ways (what is the point exactly?). I really want to do some online research to see how they work. Anyway, back to the business of Assune.com, Vet will start a new marketing campaign this week. I will let you all know how it turns out. After I do 20 or more job applications today I think I might cook Chicken Alfredo. If you’re lucky I might post my secret recipe, but don’t hold your breath. That’s about it for today but, I’d like to leave you with a little message that my track coach told me in college when i wasn’t working as hard as he knew I could. He asked me, why am I being so lazy? I said, “I don’t feel that good” he replied, “that is the funny thing about working out no matter how you do it you will be tired at the end so go as hard as you can to get the most out of it.” That is food for thought, you do the dishes! LOL Thanks Doc for the advice. Words to live by.

My “brother from another mother”, which i will remain nameless, asked me a question: Why do people flash money in their pictures online? (i.e, yahoo profile, myspace, etc.) My response: I don’t know. I saw some dude showing off like 23 dollars in one dollar bills one time. It’s crazy how a man can have on fresh shoes, fresh jeans and fresh top, I mean fresh from the store and not have 3 dollars in his pocket. I like nice things but living over your means is almost a deadly sin in my opinion. The community I come from seems to their minds set on appearing that they have money but there bank account and wallet definitely tell a different story. The new idea of being a “millionaire over night” might be the culprit of this phenomena because of the constant depiction on T.V. I will use Micheal Vick for example. All you see is the poor kid get a multi- million dollar contract and boom he is rich. When in reality he was building up a 1st round draft pick resume since he first set foot on a football field. You know pop warner, high school ball and college is work, that means he really been on the job for free for like what 4 year in high school 4 years in college that 8 with out pay. I think kids need to get the truth behind every rags to riches story. There are people that can tell you, “yea I loaned that man 5 dollars at one point.” Now that I got that out of my system, I made a couple of changes on the blog and added some new features to the forum, but I will be making changes. The blog has been relatively inconsistent lately, and I apologize but, I will try to have one for you all to enjoy every day but I have to do some things. That’s about it for now, check out http://manandwife.tv. It is hilarious but i recommend this for adults only. Sorry Youngsters!

Category: 7/11, Xbox, Xbox live, assune.com, thanksgiving
This blog will be brief people. All I want to do is reflect on a recent recounter with a less fortunate gentlemen I met. Recently, as I walked into 7/11, a man asked me for five cents. Not a dollar or some change, just five cents. I was at a lost of words. I can only imagine how one can reach that point when all they desire from a complete stranger is five cents. On a lighter note, everything is going well on the site and new features are being tested as we speak and if I do say so my self they’re superb. Holla at me!!! To all my Xbox live people, I have family in town, so you can’t get any of the “timbs” this week maybe on Thanksgiving I will be giving out some spankings.

P.S: If you see someone less fortunate than yourself this week, please help them out. A lot of us are only one wrong decision away from going down that road ourselves. I guarantee you, you will waste that dollar on something frivolous. Give it to someone without thinking about what they’re going to do with it. Rather what they could do with it. Opportunities do not go away they just move on to other people so capture the opportunity to help it, feels good. Trust me!
